Back in the spring, when we wound up buying goats for ourselves, we also picked up a few goat bucklings for K’s Aunt.
The black goat buck we nick named “Bucky Boy” was old enough to be the breeder for our girls this year.
Headed into the fall, we had plans of getting Bucky Boy over here to breed Lacy. The idea was that when Ladybug our Mini Jersey Cow was dried off next spring, Lacy would come into milk just in time to pick up the slack, and we would not have any time with no farm fresh milk.
But sadly plans changed, when Bucky Boy contracted West Nile Disease…
